Good News! Congratulations to our college on achieving excellent results in the 2026 National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) project approval.

On August 26, the National Natural Science Foundation of China announced the review results for projects submitted during the 2026 centralized application round. Our college secured a total of 14 funded projects, including 6 General Programs and 8 Young Scientists Funds, with a total direct funding of 5.4 million yuan. Compared with last year, the total number of approved projects and the funding amount increased by ‌40%‌ and ‌35%‌ respectively. This fully recognizes the college's scientific research strength and team cohesion, and also represents a key achievement of our continuous efforts to promote scientific and technological innovation.

As the main channel supporting basic research, the NSFC plays a leading role in discipline development, team cultivation and research output. Our college has always attached great importance to fund application work, and systematically promoted whole-process management of project applications through an organized scientific research mechanism. In the next stage, we will continue to optimize the research ecosystem, improve support mechanisms, further strengthen organized research, build broader platforms for academic exchange and cooperation, encourage faculty to explore frontiers and tackle interdisciplinary challenges, strive for new breakthroughs in the 2027 national-level project application, and push the college's basic research to a higher level.

Once again, congratulations to all teachers! Wish everyone a steady and fruitful journey in scientific research and new achievements in the future!
