On March 17, the Retired Party Branch of the College of Biotechnology carried out the thematic study and discussion on establishing and practicing the correct view of political achievements in the Conference Room 10-205 of Hexi Campus. Retired Party members gathered together to read the original texts, grasp the core essence, and share their experiences, reviewing their original aspiration and mission in ideological exchanges and pooling the strength of the silver-haired group.

The retired Party members thoroughly studied General Secretary Xi Jinping's important expositions on establishing and practicing the correct view of political achievements. In the exchange and discussion session, everyone talked freely about their understanding of the correct view of political achievements combined with decades of work experience and life insights. All agreed that the foundation of the view of political achievements lies in whether one is loyal to the Party, cares about teachers and students, and can stand the test of practice and history. The veteran comrades stated that although they have left their jobs, their Party spirit and faith never retire or fade. They will continue to draw nourishment from theoretical study, give full play to their remaining energy in serving the overall situation, and consistently pay attention to and support the development of the university and the College, contributing their efforts to the cause of education.

In 2025, this branch was successfully awarded the title of "Six-Good" Retired Cadres Party Branch of Tianjin University of Science and Technology.
