Recently, the "Party Branch Secretary Salon" event of Tianjin University of Science and Technology was held at the Binhai Campus. Professor Liu Yihan, Secretary of the Applied Microbiology Faculty Party Branch of the College of Biotechnology, was invited to deliver a special report titled Strengthen the Foundation through Party Building, Practice the Original Aspiration with Scientific and Technological Empowerment — Practice of the "Enzyme-Excellent Project" Brand Building of the Applied Microbiology Faculty Party Branch.

At the report meeting, focusing on the practice of the "Enzyme-Excellent Project" brand building, Liu Yihan systematically elaborated on the exploration and reflection of the branch in promoting the in-depth integration of primary-level Party building work and career development, with Party building as the guide and scientific and technological empowerment as the starting point. Combined with the actual work of the branch, he shared the experience and practices in organizational construction, brand shaping, and giving full play to the role of Party members, and focused on introducing how to organically integrate Party building work with disciplinary characteristics, talent cultivation and social services to create a Party building brand with distinct disciplinary recognition.

Liu Yihan stated that in the future, the Party branch will continue to polish the "Enzyme-Excellent Project" brand, focus on national strategic needs, deepen the integration mechanism of joint Party building, scientific and technological empowerment and talent cultivation, strive to break through "stuck neck" technical problems, promote the transformation of more scientific research achievements into practical applications, lead high-quality development with high-quality Party building, and contribute primary-level strength to the construction of a strong country in education and science and technology. After listening to the report carefully, the participating Party branch secretaries had in-depth exchanges on topics such as Party building brand creation and branch vitality improvement. They all agreed that the "Enzyme-Excellent Project" is distinctive, practical and full of sincere dedication, setting a nearby and learnable example for primary-level Party building work.
