On April 2, a delegation from Zoucheng Science and Technology Bureau visited Tianjin University of Science and Technology for an exchange symposium. Relevant responsible personnel and faculty representatives from the College of Biotechnology attended the meeting, which was presided over by Jiang Huifeng, Dean of the College of Biotechnology.

Jiang Huifeng extended a warm welcome to the delegation from Zoucheng Science and Technology Bureau. He stated that the College's discipline layout and scientific research directions are highly aligned with the industrial development strategy of Zoucheng, boasting broad cooperation space especially in fields such as bio-based materials, precise drug synthesis, enzymes and polypeptides. He hopes to take this exchange as an opportunity to focus on key core technologies, build a collaborative innovation platform, continuously deepen the integration of industry-university-research, promote the efficient transformation of innovative achievements, and empower the bioeconomy to improve quality and efficiency.

It expects the two sides to deepen communication and cooperation, realize the efficient linkage of scientific research resources, technical demands and talent reserves, and explore long-term mechanisms such as co-building internship and training bases and jointly cultivating talents.

Faculty representatives from the College of Biotechnology introduced the College's discipline construction, team development and scientific research innovation achievements. The two sides had in-depth discussions around industrial technology demands and the transformation and application of achievements, and initially reached a cooperation intention.
