Report on the Organization of Teachers and Students of the College of Biotechnology to Watch and Listen to the Ceremony Celebrating the 105th Anniversary of the Founding of the Communist Party of China

At 10:00 a.m. on July 1, 2026, the ceremony celebrating the 105th Anniversary of the Founding of the Communist Party of China was grandly held in the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee, President of the People's Republic of China, and Chairman of the Central Military Commission, presented the "July 1 Medal" to its recipients and delivered an important speech. The Party Committee of the College of Biotechnology strictly implemented the arrangements of the University Party Committee, and organized Party members, cadres, teachers and students of the college to watch and listen to the grand event of the ceremony through various forms. The college set up a centralized viewing venue in Conference Room 2-208 at the Binhai Middle Campus. The teachers and students, full of enthusiasm, listened attentively to General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech, took notes of key points while watching, and responded to the important speech with warm applause from time to time.

Right after the live broadcast of the ceremony, the college immediately organized the teachers and students present to carry out study and discussions. ‌Professor Zhang Chenglin‌, Member of the Discipline Inspection Commission of the College of Biotechnology and Secretary of the Faculty Party Branch of Fermentation Engineering: The important speech delivered by General Secretary Xi Jinping at the celebration reviewed the glorious course and outlined the prospects for national rejuvenation, which greatly inspired me and made me deeply aware of the heavy responsibilities on my shoulders. As the secretary of the faculty party branch and a front-line teacher, I will consciously carry forward the great Party-building spirit, take the pioneer models as benchmarks, closely align with the university's "Top Tust" and the "3510" strategic deployment, deepen the standardized construction of the Party branch, and promote the in-depth integration of Party building and professional work. I will stay true to the original aspiration of fostering virtue through education, deepen the industry-university-research integration, focus on cultivating new-era talents in the field of bio-manufacturing, target the "stuck neck" problems in the amino acid industry, accelerate scientific and technological innovation and achievement transformation, and serve the people's needs with scientific research. I will integrate personal struggle into the great journey of building a strong country, and contribute wisdom and strength to building China into a leading country in education, science and technology, talent and manufacturing.

‌Deng Qingxu‌, 2023 PhD candidate of the College of Biotechnology and Deputy Secretary of the First Postgraduate Party Branch of Biology and Medicine in the First Student Community of Bioengineering: Watching the celebration ceremony made me deeply touched and greatly inspired. I realized that in the century-long journey, countless Communist Party members have taken root in ordinary posts, stuck to their original aspiration for decades, and interpreted their patriotism and mission with practical efforts and perseverance, which is exactly the value pursuit that young Party members should learn most. As a PhD student, I will abandon the impetuous mentality of seeking quick success, strictly abide by academic bottom lines, devote myself to studying professional problems, delve into scientific research with perseverance, and practice the commitment to serve the country with solid achievements. As the deputy secretary of the Party branch, I will take the models as benchmarks, perform my duties pragmatically based on my post, reject formalism, focus on the practical needs of the students in the Party branch in scientific research, study and ideology, solidly promote the construction of academic style, ideological guidance and support services, drive the surrounding Party members to strive for excellence, and practice the original aspiration of Party members with practical results.

‌Yan Yilong‌, 2024 undergraduate student of the College of Biotechnology and member of the Third Undergraduate Party Branch of Biotechnology in the First Student Community of Bioengineering: General Secretary Xi Jinping sent a heartfelt message to the younger generation: "The Chinese youth in the new era must unswervingly follow the Party, set up lofty aspirations, bravely shoulder the responsibilities of the times, integrate personal pursuit into the cause of the Party and the country, seize the day and live up to our youth, and run the historical relay race well on the new journey." As an undergraduate Party member, I deeply realize that I am not only a learner of the century-old Party history, but also a practitioner of the pioneer force. The campus is the main battlefield, and classrooms, dormitories and laboratories are the examination venues in daily life. I will take the recipients of the "July 1 Medal" as examples, study diligently, be strict with myself, serve others and make contributions, consolidate my ability foundation with solid academic performance, practice the original aspiration of joining the Party with practical actions, strive to grow into a new-era young Party member with ideals, courage to take responsibilities, willingness to bear hardships and courage to strive, and run the relay race of our generation well on the new journey.

All teachers and students agreed that General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech reviewed the glorious course of the Communist Party of China over the past 105 years, profoundly summarized the Party's achievements and historical experience, and pointed out the direction for the whole Party and people of all ethnic groups to march forward confidently towards the grand goal of building a modern socialist country in all respects and realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
