To further promote the standardization and normalization of Party building work and smoothly advance the follow-up work of all Party branches, the College of Biotechnology organized and held the 2026 Training Session for Enhancing the Performance Competence of Party Branch Committee Members in the Conference Room 2-208 on March 13. Guo Yan, full-time organizer of the College, Li Xueying, Party affairs secretary, all committee members of each Party branch, and representatives of members from various departments of the Party Building Center attended the meeting, and carried out exchanges around recent key tasks and the department collaboration mechanism.

At the meeting, Li Xueying, Party affairs secretary, combined with the work arrangements for the first half of the year, explained key links such as the organizational life meeting and democratic evaluation of Party members, reminding all branches to strictly promote the work in accordance with procedures to ensure a standardized evaluation process and objective results. She also encouraged all branches to explore innovative forms such as "mini Party lectures in the laboratory" based on their own scientific research characteristics, so as to promote the mutual promotion of Party building work and academic research. When talking about the development of Party members, she reminded all branches to strengthen the inspection and check on the candidates to be recommended as Party membership activists and development targets, so as to effectively guarantee the advanced nature and purity of the Party member team.

To further straighten out the working mechanism, the Development Department, Secretariat Department, and Publicity and Practice Department of the Party Building Center respectively introduced their own functions, and carried out professional training around the Party member development process, the management of temporarily stored Party members, the transfer of Party organizational relations, the explanation of meetings such as "Three Meetings and One Class", and the requirements for the collection and review of materials.

In her speech, Guo Yan, full-time organizer, fully affirmed the hard work of all Party branch committee members, and encouraged everyone to promote the implementation of work with higher standards and more practical work styles. She pointed out that as an important force in the construction of Party branches, the committee members should play a leading role in political guidance, organization and coordination, and serving the masses. They should also be good at integrating resources and exploring methods to effectively solve the difficult problems in Party building work.

This training further clarified the key points of the annual work, enhanced the sense of responsibility of the branch committee members, and provided strong support for improving the quality of primary-level Party building work. In the future, the College of Biotechnology will continue to deepen the leadership of Party building, and push all work to a new level.
