Team Overview
Led by Professor Wang Depei, the Biochemical Process and Technology Team consists of 2 full professors, 2 associate professors, 1 lecturer, and over 30 master's and doctoral students. The team specializes in biocatalysis and green chemical engineering, focusing on elucidating the physiological characteristics and regulatory mechanisms of biological systems (microorganisms/enzymes) in biochemical processes. The team aims to develop novel technologies and methods to enhance production performance, create next-generation industrial microbial strains and high-performance enzyme preparations, improve the efficiency of biochemical processes, and achieve high-yield biomanufacturing.
