王楠,博士,天津科技大学生物工程学院教授博士生导师天津市特聘教授(2019年),天津市131创新型人才培养工程第一层次人选2013年),天津市“131“创新型人才团队负责人2017年)天津市高等学校创新团队负责人(2017年),2015年获天津青年创新创业创优先进个人荣誉称号。2018年带领团队获“天津市三八红旗集体”。全国可饲用中草药产业科技创新联盟常务理事,国家食药同源产业技术联盟理事,中国细胞生物学学会会员,中国生物化学学会会员,中国细胞生物学学会干细胞分会会员天津市微生物学会员,天津市食品学会会员。目前是《Stem Cells》、《Experiment Cell Research》、《Journal of Cellular and Molecular Medicine、《Food & Function等多个SCI期刊的同行评议人。

目前主要从事心血管疾病及干细胞分化中的转录调控及表观遗传学修饰等研究工作,同时开展益生菌与功能因子在机体发育、肠道疾病调节等方面的作用及机制研究主持省部级以上科研项目7天津市创新团队2横向科研项目3项,参与多项国家级及省部级项目,共发表论文100余篇,其中以第一或通讯作者在《Autophagy》(IF=16.016等期刊发表SCI论文32,单篇引用最高106
